Privacy & cookies
Goodfellas Simracing is a hobby community site. We collect as little as possible, and we only enable analytics cookies if you allow them.
Who is responsible?
This site belongs to Goodfellas Simracing, a Dutch-language iRacing community. Questions or a privacy request? Send a message via our Discord.
What data and cookies?
Functional (always on)
We remember your cookie choice in your own browser (gf_cookie_consent
in localStorage). It isn't sent anywhere.
Analytics (only after consent)
If you click Accept, we use Google Analytics 4
(G-B1Z2JWDRRB) to see which pages are read, roughly which country visitors
come from and which device they use. This data is not anonymous: Google links it to a
cookie ID. GA4 does not store IP addresses. We don't use it for advertising.
Without Accept, nothing from Google is loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Strato (Germany). Like any web server, Strato logs technical data such as IP address, browser and time to keep the site secure and working. Strato keeps these logs for a short time.
Change your choice
Third parties and transfers
- Google (Analytics), only after consent. Google may process data in the US. This is allowed under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, in which Google participates. See Google's privacy policy.
- Discord: if you click a Discord link, Discord's terms apply.
Retention
Your cookie choice stays in your browser until you clear or change it. We keep analytics data as briefly as possible: 2 months by default in Google Analytics.
Your rights
You can ask which data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Send us a message via Discord. Not happy with how we handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
