The GoodfellasSimracing.nl team took part last Saturday in the 12-hour endurance race at Sebring International Raceway in the iRacing Special Event, with four of our drivers — Sam, David, Henrie and Sander.

The team livery radiated professionalism and recognition, with a design that immediately stood out among the international field. The setup was solid too: carefully optimised for Sebring’s specific demands, with attention to grip, stability and tyre management across the long stints. Even so, the race proved an intense test of consistency, strategy and teamwork.

Start and opening phase

At the rolling start the GoodfellasSimracing.nl drivers took a solid position in the field. Sander opened the race with a controlled, incident-free first two stints, matching midfield pace despite the busy track and Sebring’s characteristic bumps. Communication within the team stayed clear, and the pit stops went to plan, with an efficient hand-over to David for the next two stints.

Mid-race and challenges

Through the long hours of the race all four drivers showed their experience in endurance sim racing. Henrie and Sander put in strong stints with minimal incidents, while David had a bit more trouble with grip levels — resulting in a few small spins. The setup proved its worth in the fast corners and on the straights, where the car stayed stable and predictable.

Still, Sebring lived up to its reputation as a demanding circuit. Small incidents and strategic choices around tyres and fuel brought position changes. The team stuck to a professional approach: no unnecessary risks, focus on fuel consumption and continuous coordination with each other on Discord.

Closing stage and finish

In the final hours of the race the drivers still fought for P3. Ultimately we finished in fourth. Sam closed out the endurance with a solid final double stint, while the full quartet brought the car faultlessly across the finish after twelve hours of intensive racing. Although the absolute top classification stayed out of reach, GoodfellasSimracing.nl demonstrated the consistency and team spirit that characterise the community.
